A year or so ago I tried my hand at t-shirt design at Threadless. The attempt went nowhere, the competition and the scope of the art that is being produced there is unparalleled. I wasn't worthy. So, today I was surfing and came across an artist that had his artwork printed as a shirt more than once. His name is Justin White. On November 16th he is unveiling his first solo show Rated G at Gallery 1988 in Los Angeles. It's a series of painted animation cells illustrating scenes from popular movies. It's a neat idea, and the finished work is outstanding.
